The Lawfare Project, in partnership with the international law firm Alston & Bird, has filed a lawsuit against CUNY Hunter College for its failure to combat pervasive antisemitism on campus. The suit, filed on behalf of the Chair in Jewish Studies and Director of Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Hunter College, details a campus environment where Jewish students and faculty live in fear due to ongoing antisemitic protests and materials.

The Lawfare Project advised SSI and assisted in drafting a contract, to be signed by all event attendees, by which attendees would commit to peaceful and respectful behavior during the event and acknowledge that disruptive behavior would be met with disciplinary actions. The event proceeded without disruption.
