Discrimination against pro-Israel student at Boston University
A pro-Israel Jewish student at Boston University, Raphael Fils, was targeted by a professor for his outspoken pro-Israel views. The professor harassed Fils in class and denied him pre-approved testing accommodations on the day of the final exam, resulting in a lower grade.
The Lawfare Project counseled Fils on how to raise this issue with school administrators, in order to protect and enforce his civil rights. The professor at issue is no longer working at the school and, to our knowledge, there have been no subsequent reports of anti-Semitic bias or mistreatment of pro-Israel students.
