The Lawfare Project Issues Statement In Response to Latest Federal Investigation into Columbia University

The Lawfare Project issued the following statement in response to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigation into janitors Lester Wilson and Mario Torres, who claim they were unlawfully forced to scrub off swastikas spray-painted on campus before later being attacked on campus:

“Week after week, new reports of rampant antisemitism continue to emerge from Columbia University, revealing just how unchecked the problem of Jew-hatred is on campus. Students, faculty, and staff continue to be targeted by pro-terror mobs and academic life is regularly disrupted.  While The Lawfare Project has already taken legal action against Columbia, we trust that the EEOC will conduct a thorough investigation and take decisive steps to hold Columbia accountable for the hostile environment it is refusing to address.”

The Lawfare Project is currently representing a Jewish student who attended Columbia and was forced out of an academic program in retaliation for reporting the antisemitic environment on campus and requesting safety accommodations.
