Jew-hating academic union attacks The Lawfare Project
Dear friends,
You may have seen that, last week, the City University of New York (CUNY) Professional Staff Congress (PSC) International Committee passed a resolution condemning The Lawfare Project, along with several other Jewish organizations, for fighting against the presence of terrorism on American college campuses. The resolution was a response to our work shutting down the San Francisco State University (SFSU) terrorist propaganda event featuring two-time plane hijacker and proud member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Leila Khaled.
This resolution was passed so that CUNY PSC could set up a committee and begin fundraising against our efforts to keep terrorists and Jew hatred off campuses. In doing so, this fringe union has declared war on the Jewish community.
But we have no plans to take this lying down. The Lawfare Project will be establishing its own committee dedicated to combating this radical element on campus.
The stakes have never been higher. CLICK HERE to donate to The Lawfare Project's Committee to Defend Jews on Campus.
The only thing this resolution accomplishes is exposing CUNY PSC for the anti-Semitic, terror-supporting organization it really is. Jew haters cannot hide behind "academic freedom" to conceal their animosity towards our community. We see right through it. This has nothing to do with academic freedom or freedom of speech. This is about hateful professors and their mission to spread lies about Israel and the Jewish people. And they don't care who they have to partner up with to get their message out—even violent terrorists. By passing this resolution, CUNY PSC has made it clear that it prioritizes supporting terrorism on U.S. campuses over the best interests of its own members.
Providing material support to a prominent leader of a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) is illegal under federal law. SFSU is currently under investigation by multiple federal agencies for its role in attempting to host this event.
We welcome the ire of corrupt, anti-Semitic organizations like CUNY PSC. It means we are doing our duty to tirelessly defend the Jewish community from discrimination. This attack has only strengthened our resolve.
Thank you for standing with us as we continue our vitally important work to combat the Jew-hating hypocrisy that has infected academia, and please consider donating to help us take our fight to the next level.
With gratitude,
Brooke Goldstein
