NEW CASE: Joining the fight to bring Ahlam Tamimi to justice

Dear friends,

I want you to be the first to know about The Lawfare Project's involvement in an international effort to bring convicted terrorist Ahlam Tamimi to justice. Tamimi helped carry out a deadly bombing at Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem in 2001 but was allowed to walk free as part of a prisoner exchange program. Since then, she has taken up residence in Jordan, where she is treated as a national celebrity. Arnold and Frimet Roth, the parents of 15-year old-Malki, who was murdered in the attack, have been fighting for justice for their daughter and the other Jewish victims.

In Jordan, a free Tamimi was given her own talk show where, for nearly 5 years, she incited violence and made it clear that her only regret was that more Jews were not killed. It is inconceivably cruel for the Roths and the families of the other victims to have to sit by every day as the killer of their loved ones freely walks the streets and celebrates her crimes.

Urged on by the Roths, the U.S. Department of Justice is seeking Tamimi's extradition from Jordan to the United States, so that she can be held responsible for the vicious bombing she orchestrated that killed 15 people—including two American nationals—and left 130 injured. Tamimi is currently on the FBI's Most Wanted List and remains a threat to the security of Jews everywhere. She cannot continue to walk free and inspire a new generation of murderers.

The Lawfare Project is proud to take on this important case, alongside its current legal team, to force Tamimi to face justice in the United States. To deny retribution to Malki's family and the families of the 14 other people killed in this attack is unimaginable. The Lawfare Project will fight to ensure that Tamimi pays for what she did.

As always, we wouldn't be able to support cases such as this without your support. I wholeheartedly thank you for your involvement in achieving justice for Jews everywhere.

Sincerely,

Brooke Goldstein
