Anti-Semitic protesting at Michigan synagogue
For nearly two decades, a virulent group of anti-Semitic individuals have been protesting in front of an Ann Arbor, Michigan synagogue every Saturday with signs bearing statements such as: “Jewish Power Corrupts”; “Stop Funding Israel”; “Israel: No Right to Exist”; and “End the Palestinian Holocaust.” The City of Ann Arbor has ignored the synagogue’s repeated pleas for help and has refused to enforce an ordinance that would limit the negative impact the protests have had on the congregants and their children. The Lawfare Project agreed to participate in a lawsuit with local counsel, who filed the action against the City of Ann Arbor and the protesters to secure time, place, and manner restrictions and damages for the harm inflicted.
