Employment discrimination at CUNY Kingsborough
Senior administrators at CUNY Kingsborough have actively attempted to limit the hiring and obstruct the promotion of Jewish faculty, and created a hostile and intimidating workplace. Along with co-counsel Corey Stark, The Lawfare Project is representing CUNY professor and department chair Jeffrey Lax in an employment discrimination lawsuit against the University.
The goals of the lawsuit are to ensure that Prof. Lax is treated fairly, to discourage future discrimination and harassment, and to deter administrators at CUNY Kingsborough, other CUNY campuses, and academic institutions nationwide from discriminating against Jewish members of their campus communities.
